The retail development will have 400 rooftops nearby. The planned development, being built on the site of the former Klehm Nursery at the northeast corner of Higgins Road and Route 59, will include a 56-acre park and 70 acres of wetland.
The project is being designed by Arlington Heights-based HKM Architects + Planners, Inc., which is designing the redevelopment of Downtown Des Plaines, being co-developed by Tucker Development and Joseph Freed Associates.
