Freight Forwarding Company Inks $1M-Plus Lease

HIALEAH, FL-The company, Bernuth Agencies Ltd., signed a five-year lease with two five-year options for 70,000 sf of industrial space here. Per sf, the lease is valued at $3.71 to $4.

The lease represents a relocation for the company from the Miami River area and a change from owning to leasing its facilities. The company sold its previous location and moved to the leased space, located at 725 S.E. 9th Court, which is not within an industrial park.

Bernuth wanted to consolidate operations into its new space, says Rafael Villamizar, the broker with Grubb & Ellis Co. who represented both EJGJ and Bernuth Agencies in the transaction.
