Along Hall Road, Flagstar is one of several financial institutions to open new facilities. East of the new FlagStar location, both New Baltimore-based Citizen's State Bank and Clinton Township-based Macomb Schools & Government Credit Union have facilities under construction along the busy thoroughfare.
Flagstar Bancorp, which has $12.2 billion in total assets, is the second largest banking institution headquartered in Michigan. With the opening of its two newest offices, Flagstar operates 104 banking centers in southern Michigan and Indiana, 131 home loan centers in 21 states and 12 correspondent lending offices nationally.
Comerica Bank, based in Detroit, is the state's largest Michigan-based bank.
