The property, built last year, was 100% leased at the time of sale. It also did not take long to sell, reports Baum Realty Group, Inc. executive vice president Chad Firsel. "The fact that it was on the market for a very short time underscores the strength of the retail investment sales market," he says.
Firsel represented both parties in the west suburban sale, about 40 miles from Downtown, where Baum Realty Group handles about 25% of the retail deals in that submarket.
