Saab plans to vacate the space at the 4405 International Boulevard building in September when it relocates to Detroit in an administrative consolidation move with its parent, General Motors Corp.

However, the building's strategic location could also help it find a tenant in a shorter period, brokers say. The building was constructed in 1984 and is located in Gwinnett Summit Park, just east of Interstate 85 and north of Beaver Ruin Road. Gwinnett Place Mall is nearby.

Although most of its 80-employee staff will have moved to Detroit by September, Saab plans to keep its corporate offices here open through October, brokers in a position to know tell GlobeSt.com. GM bought Sweden-based Saab in 1990.
