Cushman & Wakefield recently pegged total vacancy in the East-West submarket at 33.1%, with includes a 27.5% direct vacancy rate. While direct vacancy has dropped two percentage points since last year, sublease space has doubled in the 11.2-million-sf submarket, to 5.6%.
