The law firm was able to reduce its rent and get some tenant improvement concessions from the owner of the building, Chicago-based Equity Office Properties. Robins Kaplan Miller Ciresi was able to extend its lease by 15 years to the year 2019, according to sources familiar with the deal.

Robins Kaplan Miller Ciresi was represented in the deal by Rich Reynolds, John Niemi and Todd Braufman of the Minneapolis office of Equis Corp., the Chicago-based commercial real estate. The owner of the building, Equity Office Properties, was represented in house by Dick Keller.
