Meridian Leasing is taking the top two floors of the five-story, 130,000-sf building, which Washington, DC-based CarrAmerica Realty owns in a joint venture with New York State Teachers' Retirement System along with the 251,000-sf One Parkway North. Although terms were not disclosed, published asking net lease rates at Meridian Leasing's new headquarters are $18.50 per sf for its space in the 80-acre office complex at I-94 and Deerfield Road.

"Despite the competitive office market, we are still attracting some of the most successful companies in the north suburban submarket," says Jerry O'Malley, CarrAmerica Realty's managing director for Chicago.
