Michigan To Get More Noodles Under Chain's Plans

GRAND RAPIDS, MI-A noodle restaurant chain says it plans to open 14 new Michigan locations over the next several years. It already has four company-operated restaurants in the Detroit suburbs.

The company plans to open its first Noodles & Company in the Grand Rapids area by the end of 2004. Noodles & Company currently has four company-operated restaurants throughout the Detroit area in Troy, Farmington Hills, Northville and Royal Oak, and will open two restaurants in Ann Arbor this summer.

Noodles & Co. has nearly 90 company-operated restaurants in Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Utah, Texas, Michigan, Maryland and Virginia.
