The estimated value of the lease is $3.3 million. The average asking gross base rent at Two Premier Plaza is $24.50 per sf. The transaction brings the occupancy level at the property to 91.3%.
"When we discussed options for office space for Full Spectrum, we felt that it made the most sense for us, financially and logistically, to locate it near our existing Countrywide offices," says Jackie Walls, vice president and lease manager for Countrywide Financial Corp. "We didn't see the need to relocate two offices."
Countrywide Home Loans has occupied 9,600 sf at the central perimeter location for 2.5 years. The two subsidiaries will occupy an entire floor at Two Premier Plaza. Dale Lewis of Carter and TruSite Real Estate Services brokered the transaction. Kirk Rich of Rich Real Estate Services Inc. negotiated for the building's owner.
