Andev, Inc. wants a relatively quick sale rather than a protracted sales process, explains chairman and chief executive officer Steven L. Good. Sealed bids for the office and retail properties are due July 28 while the condominium auction will be held Aug. 1.
Andev, Inc.'s $3-million Highland Pointe office building at 425 Bloom St. can be divided into 1,500-sf units, he adds, while the first floor of Ravinia Park Place at 578 Roger Williams Ave. can be divided into three storefronts. The office suites can be bought individually or as a package.
Highland Pointe's location just off Green Bay Road on the northern edge of Highland Park suggests a wide range of professional tenants, Good says. "Due to the proximity of Highland Park Hospital, the property is a very attractive location for medical offices for a physicians group or medical services provider," he explains. "Downtown Highland Park is also nearby, which recommends the office property to professionals such as attorneys and accountants."
Ravinia Park Place is on the south end of Highland Park, near the Ravinia Metra station, Ravinia Festival grounds and Northmoor Country Club. Potential retail tenants could include users "from a real estate office to a Starbucks," Good says.
The five two-bedroom condominiums above the storefronts range from 2,000 sf to 2,300 sf, and the suggested minimum bid is $289,000.
