Senior housing and healthcare lender Cambridge Realty Capital Cos. arranged the most recent refinancing, in the form of a HUD 223(f) first-mortgage loan at an undisclosed interest rate.
Meanwhile, Cambridge Realty Capital reports it reviewed 30 loan origination requests totaling $237.1 million in June, eclipsing the $126.4 million in requests in June 2003. "Despite the bump in June, combined loan origination volume for the first six months of 2004 continues to trail last year's volume by a substantial amount, $1.5 billion compared with $2.2 billion in 2003," says Cambridge chairman Jeffrey A. Davis. "The number of requests reviewed through the first six months of 2004 was 208 compared with 241 a year earlier."
