The call center in 41,334 sf of sublease space at Union Tower will support Kaplan Education Services' online learning programs. It will occupy space at 550 W. Van Buren St. leased by financial services giant TD Waterhouse. Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, published asking net lease rates at the 17-story building near Union Station begin at $18 per sf.

"Because Kaplan needed to move in within 60 days, this established high-density call center was ideal since it needed little construction and was fully furnished," explains Witt.
