The sale of the 12,000-sf parcel was endorsed by the community development commission even though Canzoneri's Redevelopment Enterprises is seeking to financial assistance for her $862,000 project in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. She expects the 1,250-sf units to sell for $225,000 to $300,000.

Although she is involved in projects in south suburban Frankfort and Sauk Village, Canzoneri's portfolio includes another East Garfield Park redevelopment at 3351 W. Ohio St., as well as 721 N. Avers in Humboldt Park. However, she tells the community development commission most of her portfolio now is in vacant land, including a 16-acre site at 87th Street and the Dan Ryan Expressway that could be developed for either residential or commercial use.
