Developer and property owner Osprey-Gott LLC has cornered a market of sorts, as Lusby Town Center will be the first shopping center in the small Calvert County town of Lusby; the nearest major retail destination is Solomons Towne Center in Neighboring Solomons, MD.
"With residential growth continuing to surge in Calvert County, residents are demanding more services and retail establishments," says Grant Ehat, JBGR principal. "Lusby Town Center ultimately will fill the void in the Lusby area, by providing the convenience of a grocery store and other service retailers to the residents in the surrounding neighborhoods." Three pad sites are also available at the site for purchase, ground-lease or build-to-suit purposes.
