Scott Miller, a senior associate in the local-area office of CB Richard Ellis, represented Bluegreen. Jeffrey Barker and Kim Finnerty of Cushman & Wakefield of Pennsylvania, represented the owner. Terms of the lease are undisclosed. The average asking rental rate in office buildings nearby ranges from $15 per sf to $18.50 per sf, according to area brokers who spoke to GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity.

The local facility "will help us continue to expand our sales and marketing efforts in the Northeast and support our recent acquisition of 'the Suites at Hershey,' the newest Bluegreen Vacation Club resort," says George F. Donovan, Bluegreen's president and CEO. The Boca Raton, FL-based developer and marketer of vacation ownership resorts also plans preview centers in Destin, FL and Plano, TX.

There are approximately 15 Bluegreen Resorts in the US and Aruba. The company also develops and markets planned residential and golf communities under the Bluegreen Communities banner, primarily in the Southeastern and Southwestern US.
