Velocity Sports Performance struck a deal with Scottsdale, AZ-based Globe Corp., which acquired the 101,690-sf building on 5.83 acres in the Cantera office complex in 1998 for $5 million, according to property records. Although lease terms were not disclosed, the distribution and warehouse space has been on the market at $4.95 per sf.
"After a careful assessment of the Chicago market, Equis selected this location because we believe it best suits the goals of Velocity Sports Performance," says Equis Corp. senior vice president Chris Wood. "The building is conducive to the firm's operations and it offers excellent visibility and signage."
Wood and associate Mark Kolar represented Velocity Sports Performance in negotiations with David Prioletti of CB Richard Ellis, who represented Globe Corp.
