Cinemark will join anchors Sears, JCPenney and Dillards in two stores--Womens and Childrens store plus a Mens and Home store. The new entrance and adjacent theater are flanked with new retail buildings, a large plaza and green space for gathering before and after movies, and a new indoor gathering area just inside the mall entry, anchored by a brick fireplace with soft seating. In addition to creating the new entry, Macerich Co., the owner of the mall, completed an extensive interior remodel in 2003.
The renovation of the mall consists of the removal and replacement of the existing ceiling and lighting with new open, lofty ceilings, decorative hanging light fixtures, new floors and comfortable seating areas. Adjacent to the new theater is an Olive Garden restaurant. Other regional and national tenants include the Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Anchor Blue, Bath & Body Works, Kay-Bee Toys and Software Etc.
Greeley Mall draws from a primary market of just over 100,000 residents in some 40,000 households, within a 10 mile radius. Average household income in the primary trade area is $54,177. There have been more than 2,500 housing starts in Greeley since 1998. Greeley is also the county seat for Weld County.
