Productivity Point International, which trains clients' employees and customers, signed a 14,357-sf lease in a relocation from 311 S. Wacker Dr. The Illinois Facilities Fund, a foundation formerly known as Chicago Community Trust, has signed an 11,898-sf lease for the Central Loop space.
"Productivity Point felt that 230 W. Monroe had the most to offer their company and their students in terms of a centralized locale, better lease rate, and new, efficient space," explains MB Real Estate assistant vice president Boris Yelyashov, who represented the tenant along with senior vice president Andrew Davidson.
"The IFF required additional space and was eager to both upgrade their image and relocate to a central location," says Equis Corp. senior vice president Gregg Raus, who represented Illinois Facilities Fund. "After analyzing the market and assessing the business objectives of the IFF, Equis secured a location for the client that met their needs as well as provided them with an economically beneficial result."
Ellen Trager and Mark Buth of MB Real Estate handled negotiations for the limited liability corporation that owns the building at LaSalle and Madison streets.
