Negotiations began in January with one-year owner, Songy Partners Ltd. of Atlanta, which bought the empty building at 15150 Memorial Dr. in the Energy Corridor from a subsidiary of Halliburton. "Any tenant looking in that submarket took a hard look at this building," Bonnie Kelley, leasing director for Songy's Houston office, tells GlobeSt.com. Over the past year, Songy has completed minor upgrades to Sage Plaza, but will undertake more as part of the deal with PGS Americas, a subsidiary of Norway-based Petroleum Geo-Services ASA, which provides marine seismic data, on-shore surveying and oil and gas production services in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
"Our goal was to find a full-building user for this building in the Energy Corridor," Todd Nocerini, COO for Songy Partners, says in a release. CB Richard Ellis Inc. brokered the lease, which kicks off in sync with expirations for PGS Marine Geophysical at 10550 Richmond Ave. and PGS Onshore Inc. in an office building at 738 Highway 6 South. The third location was not available.
