"This was a screaming deal--the rental rate was fantastic," says Mike Parker of Collier International who represented Rosendin along with colleagues Paul Sieczkowski and Rob Martensen. Bill Bayless of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Phoenix office represented the building owner, DH Pace Co. Inc., in the negotiations.
The San Jose, CA- based electrical contracting firm will relocate from a 7,000-sf spot at 2453 W. Birchwood Ave. in Mesa. "Rosendin is moving from a tired, old building to an almost new building," Parker notes.
Kansas City, MO-based DH Pace purchased the 41,004-sf building in May 2002 from the San Francisco-headquartered Rreef and has been actively seeking a tenant since that time. The company is also a co-tenant in the building.
Parker tells GlobeSt.com that both tenant and building owner were "extremely motivated" to get the deal done. "It was a perfect fit for both parties," he says.
