Keith Puritz and Brett Kroner of CB Richard Ellis represented both Oakbrook-based CenterPoint Properties Trust as well as Ta Chen International. Along with Anne Dempsey, they are exclusive marketing agents for CenterPoint Business Center-Gurnee, where the REIT has enough land to build more than 1 million sf of industrial space. FCL Builders is the contractor and Cornerstone Architects is architect for the most recent project.
CenterPoint Properties Trust has begun work on a 102,028-sf build-to-suit for Herbert Stanley Co. and has signed a deal for another 265,000-sf project.
Meanwhile, CenterPoint Properties Trust received a Phoenix Award for its $210-million Chicago Manufacturing Campus, a joint venture with Ford Motor Land Development Corp. The project on the city's Southeast Side won top honors for brownfield redevelopment in the five-state Midwest region and was first runner-up nationally.
