Trinity Financial Inc., a firm specializing in residential and commercial development, developed the project. The cooperative was built on 22 vacant parcels of city-owned land on Washington, Norwell and Rupert streets. The development overlooks a newly created linear urban park and involved the historic rehabilitation of the only 19th-century commercial building in the neighborhood, located at 213-217 Washington St.

Bank of America provided the lead construction loan for the project. Funding for this project was also provided by the city's department of neighborhood development, MassHousing, the city's department of housing and community development, the Neighborhood Housing Trust and Boston Community Capital.
