"The city is doing its part to provide affordable housing in South Boston by making sure that city-owned land is developed into affordable housing," says Mayor Thomas M. Menino. The project was developed by Costello Homes LLC, a joint venture of the South Boston Neighborhood Development Corp. and Keen Development Corp. Costello Homes was named in memory of former SBNDC president, Robert Costello.
Funding for the project was provided by the Department of Neighborhood Development, Neighborhood Housing Trust and Boston Community Capital.
