"This land swap agreement is truly a win-win exchange for the county, the town of Kensington and Konterra," says county executive Douglas M. Duncan. "Kensington gets an eyesore demolished and replaced with a much-needed parking lot and retail development, while Konterra gets a much more appropriate location to continue its business. Since the land exchange is not even in terms of acreage, Konterra is equalizing the situation by building the parking lot for the county.
