Savills added the prefix when it merged with Hong Kong-based First Pacific Davies in 1997. Seven years later, the company has grown worldwide and the board feels the time is right to adjust the name.
"This move brings all our businesses into line with the holding company and reinforces the dominance of the Savills brand name," says Aubrey Adams, group chief executive . "We will continue to roll out the Savills name across the globe, strengthening and developing our network throughout Europe, the Americas, the Far East and Australia."
