The development will be Hovnanian's third Four Seasons property in Virginia, joining the Four Seasons at Vint Hill in Warrenton and the Four Seasons at Historic Virginia in Dumfries. "It has been a long-awaited addition to the K. Hovnanian community list," Roger Riggins, community manager of K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Ashburn Village, says of the new development. "I have no doubt that the Four Seasons at Ashburn Village will meet or exceed the expectations of even the most selective active-adult homebuyer."
Surrounded by Routes 7, 607, 267, and 658, Ashburn Village sits in Loudoun County about 45 minutes outside of Washington, DC. When all is said and done, the condominium community will feature an exclusive 2,500-sf clubhouse with exercise facility, clubroom and hearth rooms, and access to the 32,000-sf AshburnVillage sports pavilion, which will offer tennis courts and swimming pools, and other recreational venues. The first building of the multi-structure community is expected to be ready for occupancy in the spring of next year.
K. Hovnanian has not disclosed the development cost for Ashburn Village. However, price tags attached to other Northern Virginia condominium developments--while they vary widely, depending on any number of factors--provide a vague indication of how much the property might cost to complete. In Alexandria, a joint venture is developing the 116-unit Royalton Condominiums for $28 million, and Waterford Development's 80-unit Broadway Condominium mixed-use property was built for about $30 million in Falls Church.
