The skin care company will move its North Hollywood-based R&D department into a building four times the size of previous location, according to George Stavaris of Colliers Seeley International. Stavaris and Darren Cline of Colliers Seeley represented the Sonya Dakar in the acquisition. The skin care company's new concrete tilt-up facility, built in 1991, will also serve as the manufacturing and distribution center for the firm. Kevin Tamura and Chris Sullivan of GVA Daum Commercial represented the seller, G&G Properties.
In the Santa Fe Springs transaction, Orange County-based BKM Development sold a 25,782-sf building at 13071 Arctic Circle to two locally based private individuals for $2.4 million. The buyers were represented by George Hapsic of Voit's Anaheim Metro office, with the seller represented by Stephen Batcheller of CB Richard Ellis.
In the Sun Valley transaction, Patenaude Mountain Lakes LLC bought a 15,900-sf industrial building at 10864 Cantara St. from Laier Investments for $1.7 million, with Spencer Strull of Lee & Associates' Calabasas office representing the buyer and Lainer represented itself.
