The additional 5,400 sf will allow the firm to accommodate an expected growth spurt. In conjunction with the expansion, DDL Omni extended its lease on the entire take of space through 2011.
"In addition to accommodating future growth, DDL Omni will also realize long-term savings by locking in today's favorable lease rates through 2011," says Paul Schweitzer, executive vice president and co-branch manager of the Suburban Washington office of Studley, which represented the tenant. Property owner Prentiss Properties was represented internally. Terms of the lease agreement have not been disclosed; however, Prentiss markets space at 8260 Greensboro for approximately $25 per sf.
