NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ-Construction has begun on an additional 55,000 sf of retail space at Renaissance Square here. The shopping complex is being developed by Garden Commercial Properties of Short Hills, NJ.
And the expansion is 85% pre-leased, according to Mario Dudzinski, vice president of Garden Commercial. Already added to the tenant roster are Ace Hardware, Hollywood Video and Quiznos Subs, according to Dudzinski.
"The response to the new space has been tremendous," he says. "The addition of prominent high-end franchises will provide a comprehensive list of retailers."
The incoming trio will join an existing ShopRite supermarket, which anchors the 145,000-sf Renaissance Square. The asset is situated at the intersection of Route 130 and Renaissance Blvd. in this Middlesex County community.
