LINWOOD, NJ-Karman Development Group has signed a lease with Savaradio's restaurant for an 18,000-sf, 250-seat unit at Cornerstone Commerce Center here. The signing marks the second location for chef-owner Lisa Savage, who co-owns the existing Savaradio's in Ventnor, near Atlantic City.The new location is expected to open by the end of January, according to Robin Karman, principal of Karman Development Group. SOSH Architects of Atlantic City is designing the eatery. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.Savaradio's will join the FAA Technical Center, Mainland Fitness, Perkfection Coffee House and the Atlantic County Women's Center at Cornerstone Commerce Center, a 230,000-sf redevelopment of a former Prudential regional office on Route 9 here. The $24-million makeover involved taking the building down to its primary structure and completely reconstructing it, according to Karman.The eatery will be part of the complex's 60,000-sf Shoppes at Cornerstone. The 24-acre project also includes a 130,000-sf class A office component and a 10,000-sf retail pad site, according to Karman.
