"Studley pioneered the tenant-rep business 50 years ago," says Studley president Michael Colacino. "It is now time to take a platform that has proven highly successful in the office sector and apply it to the growing industrial market."
Thomas R Carragher, branch manager of the firm's northern New Jersey office is leading this effort. "They are no longer just looking for a big box to store product for distribution. They are looking for professional counsel and a comprehensive logistics strategy. While important, real estate is only a component of such a strategy." Carragher already represents major industrial users like Bed, Bath and Beyond, Coca Cola Enterprises, Donna Karan and Georgia Pacific.
The Industrial Group will also work with the National Retail Group to provide clients with a nationally integrated source. Earlier this year, Studley absorbed Strategic Alliance Partners, a boutique tenant rep firm based in Rochelle Park, NJ, which specializes in industrial and office.
