In Highland Park, the 44-unit Highland Park Gardens has changed hands. Rosanne Maccarone, vice president of the Kislak Co. based here, had the exclusive listing for the property, which was acquired by another longtime Kislak client who paid all cash with no mortgage contingency. Kislak officials declined to identify either the buyer or seller of the two-story, 40-year-old property. The transaction follows the recent sale of a 30-unit property in the same community by Kislak.
In Jefferson Township Maccarone arranged the sale of the 12-unit, one-story Brady Park Apartments. The transaction marks the second time Maccarone has sold the property, having obtained the exclusive listing from the seller, described by company officials as a longtime Kislak client.
And in Middle Smithfield, PA, Maccarone arranged the sale of the 28-unit, fully rented Fox Glen Apartments. "The fact that there is no rent control in Pennsylvania was one of the deciding factors for the purchaser," says Maccarone, who declined to identify either the buyer or the seller.
