The new assignment for AMB, which is CBRE's largest industrial asset services client at more than 29 million sf with the addition of the new portfolio, increases CBRE's California management portfolio total to more than 100 million sf of industrial and office properties. Heading the management of the new AMB portfolio for CBRE will be Dave Pogue and Jana Turner. Pogue is based in San Francisco and is senior managing director for CBRE Asset Services' Western Region. Turner is president of CBRE Asset Services.
Bruce H. Freedman, AMB's EVP of real estate operations, says that consolidating the 25 million sf under one account at CBRE from the seven firms that formerly managed the property will allow the San Francisco-based firm to achieve greater economies of scale in its property management. AMB, which focuses on major hub and gateway distribution markets throughout North America, Europe and Asia, owns, manages and has under development projects totaling 109.1 million sf and 1,106 buildings in 38 markets within eight countries.
