"The addition of the hotel adds an important amenity for tenants of Morris Corporate Center," says Peter Eppie, executive vice president of the locally based SJP Properties, developer of Morris Corporate Center. "The hotel will cater to the corporate tenants both within the corporate center and the surrounding area."
The high-end facility, which will rise five stories, will include meeting rooms and a swimming pool among its amenities. The all-suite Staybridge brand is owned by Intercontinental Hotels Group.
Morris Corporate Center has a total of 2.2 million sf of class A office space, with the development potential for another 900,000 sf, according to Eppie. Located at the intersection of Interstates 80 and 287, its tenant roster includes Anheuser-Busch, Oracle Corp., Towers Perrin, AIG, Mercedes-Benz of North America, Degussa-Huls and Pfizer.
