Kevin Shannon of Grubb & Ellis, which brokered the sale, reports that Greenlaw bought the three-building office complex from a partnership of locally based Pacifica Capital Group and GMAC. Both the buyer and the seller were represented by Shannon, Scott Schumacher, Mike Moore, Paul Perkins, Chris Sinfield and Bill Maher, all from the South Bay office of Grubb & Ellis.Pacific Concourse, which was built in 1989, is located at 5220, 5230 and 5245 Pacific Concourse Dr. The property was 95% occupied at the time of sale. The purchase follows an $18-million acquisition in recent months of the 245,503-sf Anaheim Tech Center in Anaheim by Greenlaw Partners and Guggenheim Real Estate PLUS. Another of the Greenlaw deals, also in partnership with Guggenheim, was the acquisition last year of the 196,460-sf, 10-story Tustin Centre mixed-use office development in Tustin for $45 million.The latest Greenlaw purchase was one of two closed recently by Grubb & Ellis that included the $32.3-million sale of the El Segundo Research Center in El Segundo to Legacy Partners of Foster City, which bought the 184,805-sf office project from a partnership between Pacifica Capital Group and Apollo. The two-building concrete tilt-up complex, which was built in 1986 and 1987, is located at 550 N. Continental and 2040 E. Mariposa. The buyer and the seller were represented by Shannon, Perkins, Schumacher and Mike Moore, along with Bill Bloodgood and Dave Smith of CB Richard Ellis.
