Located in the heart of Kendall Square, the Cambridge Center is a 12-building, two million-sf, mixed-use complex. The center contains retail, restaurant, hotel facilities and on-site public transportation. Five Cambridge Center is a 13-story, 224,966-sf flexible office space that is currently 60% occupied.
Spaulding & Slye Colliers principal Debra Gould and assistant VP Peter Bekarian negotiated the transaction on behalf of the building owner, AEW Capital Management LP. Joseph P. Flaherty, vice president, and Tucker Hansen, associate, of Meredith & Grew represented the Whitehead Institute.
