"J Street Development and its venture partner, Fidelity Investments, timed the acquisition of this property perfectly, as the NoMa submarket is primed and ready for new residential and commercial development," says Christopher Feeley, senior vice president of Equity Investments for NorthMarq's Washington Regional office. He orchestrated the deal with colleague senior vice president Kenneth Gentzel.
A 55-acre section north of Massachusetts Ave., NoMa is enclosed by the Washington Convention Center, Union Station and New York Ave. The neighborhood is one of the few areas in the District that features available land zoned for commercial and residential development.
