Built in 1864, the renovated mill was once home to Digital Equipment Corp.'s world headquarters. The five-story, 385,000-sf office is currently 96% occupied. Tenants include the Earthwatch Institute, Verizon, Inceptor and the Yacobian Group. The building is part of a 13-structure, 1.1-million-sf complex that is home to a large number of technology firms.
Located near the intersection of Routes 128 and 93, amenities at the complex include a cafeteria, a conference center, a day care facility and shuttle service to employee-parking areas. The town of Maynard was also designated as an Economic Target Area, which means that tenants of the complex pay no personal property taxes, and are eligible to receive tax credits.
Kevin Malloy and Tim Lathom of the Lincoln Property Co. represented the tenant, while Chris Tosti, Rob Walles, Bob Maguire and Matt Maguire of CB Richard Ellis represented the owner Wellesley Rosewood Maynard Mills.
