Pyramid Technologies will expand this month into 1721 N. 46th St., owned by Jon and Marla Richards of Mesa, from its primary operations hub, an 11,000-sf structure at 945 E. Juanita Ave. The lease is valued at nearly $500,000.
"They wanted to establish another manufacturing location nearby, but there aren't a lot of buildings in this area because it's somewhat of an emerging market," Marc Pierce of Lee & Associates Arizona tells GlobeSt.com. "If you're looking for a freestanding building, there aren't a lot of options." He represented both Pyramid Technologies and the Richards in the lease transaction. The five-year-old building along 46th Street had been vacant about three months, Pierce says.
