The Atlantic Tambone-owned building was completed in September 2001. After leasing space to original tenants Cytyc LP and Migrant Glass Co. Inc., leasing activity had screeched to a halt.

"We had early success leasing the building with Cytyc and Migrant, then we went through a period of leasing difficulty with the downturn of the economy," Dave Connolly, senior VP at CB Richard Ellis, tells GlobeSt.com. "As the economy recovered in the last six to eight months, we saw more activity." Connolly adds that he and partner Bruce Grean had been working on the deals for both companies since the fall, and reached agreements with the companies "in the last two months."

Senior VP's Connolly and Grean of CBRE Whittier Partners were exclusive leasing brokers for Atlantic Tambone. Executive VP/partner Mark Reardon, also of CBRE Whittier, represented Crown Cork & Seal, while Harmon Lewis of National Commercial Brokers Inc., repped Mattress Giant.

Methuen Industrial Center is a 234,268-sf office and warehouse/distribution building that sits on 17 acres. Located at the interchange of Interstate 93 and Pelham Street, the building is constructed with steel frame and masonry block, with a 30-foot clear height, ESFR sprinkler system, 24 shipping and receiving doors with dock seals and levelers and 247 parking spaces.
