The transaction, one of three related to the company's relocation, was arranged by Allan Greene, vice president in the Iselin, NJ office of Equis Corp. The owner of the class A building, Steiner Equities Group of Roseland, NJ, was self-represented. Terms of the signing were not disclosed, however, "it includes cost reduction, image improvement, an expansion option, an attractive tenant improvement allowance and sufficient space to accommodate growth," according to Greene.

"The continued telecom rebound and our ongoing penetration of the enterprise market have stimulated strong growth for our business," says Synchronoss CEO Stephen Waldis. "This necessitated the expansion of our operation near our most important customers and partners."

In the related transactions, also arranged by Equis, Synchronoss is expanding its existing space at Liberty Property Trust's 1525 Valley Center Parkway in Bethlehem, PA. With the HQ relocation, the space will now be used to house a data center, a new operations center and technical support staff, according to Waldis.

And Synchronoss has also taken 3,500 sf of headquarters support space at 3421 Route 22 East in Branchburg, NJ, a few miles from its new HQ. The owner of the building, NJ Mortgage Acquisition Corp., was self-represented.
