Fameco, which recently added an office in Princeton, NJ, opened a third in Allentown, based on its growing involvement in three of four shopping centers under development there. They are Palmer Town Center in Easton, Southmont Shopping Center in Bethlehem and the Summit at Lehigh, a 300-acre mixed-use development under way by a JV between Forest City Enterprises and Bayer Properties that will contain 500,000 sf of upscale and specialty retail space.

Kathy Hawley, formerly with Woodbridge, NJ-based Schultz Organization, will head Fameco's Allentown office. She brings 18 years of experience in retail property representation to the post.

Fameco is the exclusive representative for 64 shopping centers and retail properties totaling 13.5 million sf in the tri-state area. It manages more than three million sf of retail space and represents more than 45 retailers that are expanding in the Delaware Valley.

Prior to joining GMH, Bryer was VP and chief information officer of Philadelphia-based Parkway Corp., which owns and operates more than 100 parking facilities throughout the US and Canada. Before that he held technology posts at subsidiaries of Cigna HealthCare, Princeton University and General Electric. Gary Holloway, chairman and CEO of GMH, says Bryer will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation and protection of information systems as the company grows and expands nationwide.
