In April, the logistics firm will move into its new facility at 2507 W. Geneva Dr., relocating from 20,000-sf at 2202 E. Magnolia Ave. "The main factor was that Phoenix Logistics wanted to upgrade its image," Ken McQueen, vice president with Trammell Crow Co., tells GlobeSt.com. He and senior associate Andy Ogan represented Phoenix Logistics. Aston Capital was represented by the Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc. team of Steve Sayre, Pat Harlan and Lindsay Erickson.

According to McQueen, Phoenix Logistics' current space is inefficient. The Geneva Drive space not only offers great visibility and identity, but it has a lot of high-end finish out that is suitable for R&D. "It's plug-and-play space for them."

Built in 1986, the site currently houses Primarian, a semi-conductor start-up founded by Intel Corp. veterans. The company is in the midst of downsizing and is negotiating for smaller space, adds McQueen.
