Barrios Technology, a NASA subcontractor with expertise in aerospace engineering, space operations, information technology and training solutions, will move from its 17,000-sf office at 2525 Bay Area Blvd. The subcontractor's relocation to one of four buildings at Armand Plaza at 16441 Space Center Blvd. in Clear Lake is being done to curb costs for its client, Derrell Curry, with Studley Houston, tells GlobeSt.com.
"Barrios was looking to move into less expensive space in order to save their customer, NASA, money," says Curry, who represented Barrios Technology in the long-term lease negotiations. "These buildings still offered them proximity to the customer and gave them more visibility while emphasizing cost savings. It gave them everything they needed."
Armand Plaza, a quartet of one-story office buildings totaling 64,000 square feet, is located along Space Center Boulevard between Gemini and Skywalker and is adjacent to the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus. Representing the building owner, KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, CA, was Michael Adams of PM Realty Group, Houston.
