The school was represented in the transaction by Jeff Kolodkin, senior vice president of Grubb & Ellis New Jersey, Fairfield, and by Michael Gottlieb, executive managing director of Grubb & Ellis New York. The seller was Hewlett-Packard Corp., which shed the building as excess space.

"The school has chosen to relocate in order to expand their learning programs and athletic facilities," Kolodkin says. The building is situated on a 14-acre site with room for expansion. "It is extremely rare to put together almost 14 acres in one transaction in Bergen County." Frisch School officials expect to have the building converted and ready for use for the school year beginning September 2006.
