In the largest transaction, Wampole Laboratories, a division of Inverness Medical Innovations has taken 16,000 sf on a long-term basis. Formerly a division of Carter Wallace, Wampole is a provider of diagnostic tests relating to infectious diseases.
Also, Princeton Consultants, a long-time College Park tenant, has renewed for 13,000 sf. The firm is an information and management consulting organization. And Zargis Medical Corp., a spin-off of Siemens AG that develops and markets advanced acoustic technologies relating to the heart, has leased 2,500 sf on a long-term basis.
College Park is also set to launch College Park 2. The five-building, 345,000-sf expansion, targeting office and research users, is being developed on a build-to-suit basis.
