Campbell specialized in tenant-client representation and corporate services initiatives in the C&W office here. "My family has experienced a very tragic and difficult time over the past year," he said in a statement. "I have made the decision to step back and take some time off so that I can tend to my son's special needs and contemplate my future in commercial real estate." He will continue to represent current C&W clients through completion of their transactions. Tere Blanca, senior managing director and branch manager, says C&W supports his decision.
Coral Gables-based Codina Group acquired Rowley's firm in 1998 and established a Broward County office for its brokerage subsidiary with Rowley at the helm. Rowley tells GlobeSt.com his son has been in residential real estate and wants to expand to commercial. "I'm going back into business for myself," he says, and will specialize in "office leasing and investment and land opportunities for the office arena." The father-son firm, Rowley Group, is based in Fort Lauderdale.
Both Rowley and John Geisen, president of Codina Realty Services, say the resignation is amicable. "Rowley is leaving on very good terms," Geisen adds. He says he is searching for a successor with deep ties to the South Florida market and, meanwhile, will take over Rowley's current responsibilities.
