03/17/05: This has been a very bad few weeks for current and former CEOs. Consider Boeing and AIG, which have both lost their leaders, one due to admitted indiscretions and the other due to stricter operating guidelines. Of course, let's not forget Bernie Ebbers of WorldCom. Is all of this rational? Probably not. However, as the pendulum swings far one way in an era where zealous Attorney Generals and exacting legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley take hold, you can be assured it will eventually find a harmonious balance. Yes, there have been individuals who have stepped over the line, and their punishment is due. Yet, the CEO shouldn't necessarily be singled out into a separate class subject to open hunting season.

	CBRE INVESTORS LLC (LONDON) The firm announced that it has tapped Leonard Geigeras as director of its global real estate securities program.
	MORRISON & FOERSTER (NEW YORK CITY) Senior corporate finance attorney Yaacov M. Gross has joined the firm as partner in its locally based office. Gross was most recently founder of the real estate securities practice at Wilkie, Farr and Gallagher.
	STAUBACH CO. (MURRAY HILL, NJ) The firm has brought in Joseph McMahon as vice president. McMahon comes from Garibaldi Group/Corfac International, where he was managing director.
	ROCKBRIDGE CAPITAL (COLUMBUS, OH) Kim L. Swanson has joined the firm as senior vice president and corporate counsel, a newly created position. Swanson was most recently partner at Squire, Sanders & Dempey.
	CYPRESS CREEK CAPITAL (FT. LAUDERDALE, FL) New to the company is Sander Breugelmans, who joins as real estate analyst. He was previously real estate analyst at Pyramid Realty Capital Corp. in Coral Gables, FL.
	CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD (PORTLAND, OR) Devin Kelly has been named to the firm's industrial brokerage services team. Kelly comes from Norris, Beggs & Simpson, where he was industrial sales and leasing specialist.
