Owned by Thirty First Street LC, the hotel sits on Atlantic Boulevard off 31st Street and cost about $75 million to develop. The towering 21-story facility is the jewel of the new and evolving 31 Ocean entertainment complex, which will ultimately offer 27,000 sf of retail space, two entertainment pavilions and additional dining options.
Situated near the water, Hilton Virginia Beach amenities include a fitness center, indoor pool, four-story parking facility, meeting space totaling 12,000 sf, a restaurant, and the rooftop Sky Bar. The hotel, however, is not alone on the beaches near the new convention center; the 110-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott opened in September as part of the in-progress mixed-use development known as the 19th Street Project.
